Αηδονοχώρι
ΑηδονοχώριΕπτά χιλιόμετρα περίπου από τον Κέδρο δεύτερη διακλάδωση στον οδικό άξονα Κέδρου - Ρεντίνας μας οδηγεί στο Βαθύλακκο και το Αηδονοχώρι. Ο στενός με τις πολλές στροφές δρόμος, η λάμψη των υδάτων στον λαξευμένο πέτρινο πυθμένα του ποταμού και η πολυχρωμία της βλάστησης κάνουν τη διαδρομή μαγευτική και ευχάριστη. Τέσσερα χιλιόμετρα από τη διακλάδωση Αηδονοχωρίου κοντά στις πηγές Σουλαντά, βρίσκεται ο Βαθύλακκος. Το χωριό είναι κτισμένο σε υψόμετρο 800 μέτρων. Απέχει 42 χλμ. από την Καρδίτσα και 19 χλμ. από τον Κέδρο. Αξιόπιστες γραπτές μαρτυρίες αναφέρουν την ύπαρξη του χωριού στα τέλη του 16ου αιώνα.Ο αριθμός των κατοίκων σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2001 ανέρχεται στους 234. About the village Aidonohori is a village within an oak forest of the Agraphon Hills on the road to Redina at an altitude of 750 metres. Aidonohori is 45 kilometres from the County Seat of Karditsa, the last seven kilometres on unpaved road. Aidonohori is a member of the Menelaides Township.
