About the village
Aidonohori is a village within an oak forest of the Agraphon Hills on the road to Redina at an altitude of 750 metres.

Aidonohori is 45 kilometres from the County Seat of Karditsa, the last seven kilometres on unpaved road.

Aidonohori is a member of the Menelaides Township.
Local Economy

The local permanent residents number only 120 in the winter and 150 in the summer. The villagers make their living from agriculture, raising potatoes, beans, vegetables, apples and walnuts and from livestock (120 sheep and 350 goats). TRY local tsipouro and wines along with grilled meat. BUY potatoes, beans, vegetables, walnuts, honey and cheese from their local producers.
